Schedule/Location
At the last committee meeting we decided  to hold our reunion on Saturday, June 28 th at the  St. Petersburg Women's Club (Northeast St. Pete on Snell Island Blvd).  The format for the evening has not yet been decided.  It is also possible that there will be some get together on Friday night as well. 
 
At our meeting we also assigned out to the committee members classmates who are not yet registered on classmates.com so that we can contact them to get them to sign up on classmates.com and to give us their email information.  If anyone needs who they are supposed to call I kept the list.
 
Next Committee Meeting
We are now meeting monthly given that our reunion is now about a year away.   Meetings are the 3rd Thursday of the month.  Our next meeting is at 6:30  PM, Thursday, July 18th and will be held at Signature Bank at 3400 - 4th Street North courtesy of Paul Bailey.
 
Classmates.com

As you know we are using the commercial web site www.Classmates.com to help us locate our classmates.  There are currently over 100 registered from our year (around 5,000 total St. Pete High alumni are registered!).  Please encourage any of our classmates who have not registered to take the 5 minutes or so to get on there. 

We are running a contest to get more people signed up on Classmates.  We have sent an email to everyone on their telling them that the first 5 people who get 2 new classmates to sign up will be given a good bottle of Champaign.  The deadline for this contest is July 6th.

Web Site Updates Needed
We are looking to update our Web Site.
In particular we want to update the In Memory section.  Please let us know of any of our classmates that are no longer with us who are not listed on the site.   Debbie Martin has agreed to be the coordinator for this part of the web site.
 
A suggestion has been made that we raise funds from our fees and put up a plaque at the school listing their names and honoring their memory.
 
We are also going to have a picture album area.  If you have any good old pictures please bring them to the meeting or scan them and email them in.
 
Reunion Committee Email List
Make sure that you are on the Reunion Committee email list.  Get your email address to vsayler@saylerfamily.com and you will be added to get a copy of the periodic newsletter that will be coming out.
 
We are also going to add an email section to the website where you will be able to get our classmates email addresses.  Anyone who does not want their email address listed please advise me.
